Accessibility statement
What we aim for, what still needs fixing, and how to tell us if something on this site does not work for you.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, magnify the page, navigate by keyboard, or need a calmer page with less movement.
1. What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, level AA. In practice that means:
- every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline;
- text and background colours meet the required contrast levels;
- headings run in order, and landmarks let a screen reader jump straight to the content;
- images that carry meaning have text descriptions, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers;
- text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content;
- the photo slideshow stops moving if your device is set to reduce motion, and can be paused and stepped through manually.
2. Known issues
We are honest about where we are not there yet. As at the date above:
- the enquiry and job application forms are not yet connected to a mailbox — nothing you type is sent anywhere;
- the photographs on the site are illustrative stock images rather than our own team;
- our downloadable policy documents are not published yet, so we cannot yet guarantee they are accessible PDFs.
We are working through these before launch and will update this page as each one is fixed.
3. If something is not working for you
Please tell us — we would rather know. Email hello@lotuslifehealthcare.co.uk or call and describe the problem and the page it is on. We will reply within five working days.
We can also provide our information in large print, plain text, easy read or over the phone if that suits you better. Just ask.
4. Enforcement
If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
5. How we tested this site
This statement was prepared on 28 September 2026. The site was reviewed by hand against WCAG 2.2 level AA — keyboard navigation, heading and landmark structure, colour contrast, text alternatives and reduced-motion behaviour. We have not yet commissioned an independent audit.
